Our products are built to be outside year-round. It's not uncommon for it to be below 20-degrees from time to time on our ranch and our lights have never stopped working. The main issue is batteries; our lights do require a significant amount of power if they are being left out for more than a day or two, and battery life tends to be shorter in colder conditions. Good sunlight on a solar panel may help, but super cold weather will effect batteries more than our lights
